this condition is called as anosmia. it can be due to many reasons. most common reasons are nasal allergy, nasal polyp, head injury, post viral infection and many times there won't be any identifiable reasons.. very rarely tumors involving smell sensory are of brain also can produce this problem
you should consult nearby ENT specialist for complete nose examination
