Consult with a doctor
Online now
The ultrasound shows a small echogenic lesion (10×11 mm) in the liver, most likely a benign hemangioma, which is a very common and harmless finding. The rest of your abdominal scan is normal, so there is no immediate cause for concern.
Next Steps
No urgent treatment is needed. You can do a follow-up ultrasound after 6–12 months to ensure stability. If required, your doctor may advise a contrast CT/MRI for confirmation.
Health Tips
Consult a doctor earlier if you develop persistent pain, weight loss, or any new symptoms, but in most cases this remains incidental and non-problematic.
