Dear sir, I feel sleepy but can not sleep due to anxiety from last 15 days. For that I take some sleeping peels for 5 days as per doctors prescription. But no result till now. I am very stressed & fill panic at night. A lot of negative things coming into my mind. Recently since two month's I have pain in my left thigh which I feel only at time of sitting. I have no pain when I walk. For that I also take medicines but till now no cure. Due to these medicines I have irregular periods. Now I can't think what to do? Please help me.

Some precautions which are included in sleep hygiene are:
Keeping sleep time and waking up times fixed
Switching of all electronic screens 1 hour prior to sleep time
Avoiding caffeinated drinks in the evening and after
Remaining active in the daytime
Make the bedroom conducive to sleep, ie the room should be airy, with appropriate temperature, with no bright lights or loud noises
If unable to get sleep for 10 to 15 mins, do not remain in bed
Get up and walk about, you may have a glass of warm milk, listen to soft music, etc. Thereafter try again to sleep
