I slept 44 hours straight. I was suffering no major sleep deprivation, no extra stressors, no increased depression, no expressed illness. While I've had numerous non-consecutive instances of 18-20 hours sleep, it has never been over 21.

Hi thank you for writing. We need to discuss more symptoms before going forward. Depression has its own way to set in. Often at times it does not have triggers. You need to try and notice other depression symptoms as well. Sleeping for hours straight resembles lethargy and inertia which is the major symptom of depression
