Hi... Need further history regarding your condition. Sleep problems can be secondary to other disorders like depression/ Anxiety etc... r sometimes an independent problem. You may need an additional medicine for the same.

Mirtaz causes sleepiness as a side effect and is not the only medicine usually prescribed for sleep problems. Another add on sleeping aid should be prescribed. Mirtaz is used to treat depression usually.
