The cream will decrease the aggravation of a scar into a prominent one (but some mark will obviously remain.. it will not make the skin completely normal). It should be applied once the initial healing of skin has happened at the skin surface. The cream is safe to use and there is nothing you need to worry about. Hope this is helpful.
