Skin problem
Hello doctor, I am suchitra. I am here for my fathers health. He is suffering from skin problem. He has got dark reddish color itchy patches all over his body. Its been an a year now. We are currently using Glycerin lotion Secalia + Galvete lotion(Baclomethasone Dipropionate) recommend by the doctor. Because of itching he is unable to sleep at nights. I am very concerned about him.

At least, apply Secalia only, without Galvete lotion, as it is steroid cream which may be harmful on larger areas for longer period.... patient may develop secondary fungal/bacterial infections also

⢠Secalia lotion can be continued. ⢠Do keep a record of eczema flare-ups. ⢠Short daily soaks in cool or warm water help your skin absorb water without drying it out. Follow up with a greasy ointment or hydrating cream or gel to seal in moisture. ⢠Do moisturize regularly, and immediately following every shower/bath ⢠Donât scratch. ⢠Donât wear wool, nylon, rough linen or other heavy/synthetic fabrics that can irritate skin ⢠Donât wear clothing that causes excessive sweating. ⢠Donât use harsh detergents for clothes or bedding. ⢠Avoid exposure to pollen, dust, and dust mites.
