Skin itching
Hi, Almost a month back when I woke up from sleep, I suddenly got a swollen face with swollen eyes and felt itching all over my body. I had undergone complete health check in Jaypee hospital , wherein my Eosinophil came as 8.9H and absolute eiosinophil count came as .55H. Apart from this my CBC and LFTwere perfect but stomach ultrasound shows fatty lever grade I. I consulted a doctor after this and doctor suggested me Allegra 180 tab for 10 days for allergy which I have continued for another 10 days but I get relief for sometime and again itching problem starts whenever I stop taking Allegra tab. All the other tests including sugar, bp, cbc, lft etc cane absolutely normal. Any suggestions what should I do.

You are suffering from what Dermatologist call urticaria. Common causes are food allergy, infection or drugs taken for some condition. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we call hives or wheals. Although in most cases cause remains unknown in spite of a thorough search. It can be treated with medicines so that you do not get any new hives. The treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months. Please contact me through online consult option for further details and treatment..
