• This looks like urticaria (hives), most likely cholinergic urticaria triggered by heat, sweating, exercise (gym), or body temperature rise
• It is due to histamine release in skin, not an infection
• Lesions appearing and disappearing quickly supports this diagnosis
Helpful Tips / Words of Caution:
• Avoid triggers: excess heat, tight clothes, hot showers, sudden temperature changes
• Wear loose cotton clothes during workouts
• Keep skin cool; take cool showers post exercise
• Do not scratch → can worsen hives
• Usually harmless but if lip swelling, breathing difficulty → need emergency care

Multiple things trigger an urticarial episode from simple common colds and other viral, bacterial & parasitic infections to food allergies to temperature and hormonal variations and medical conditions to name just a few. Stress plays a major role in its perpetuation or in some cases genesis.
