Pityriasis rosea is not ring worm (fungal infection)... exact cause is not know most commonly after viral fever /infection episodes.
Its self limiting problem. Requires one course of antiviral & moisturising lotion ... antihistamines ..like levocetrizine..etc if there is any itching it make take 12 weeks for rememission. So don't use any fungal or self medications.
