Have to check how much graft is taken. And if there is necrosis we have to cut the dead tissues. You have to consult your operating general surgeon and get treated
Next Steps
Consult your operating surgeon if not done

If the wound is infected then we will have to find the organism first by taking a swab culture of the discharge. The report takes 3 days and based on that you can start on antibiotics. Till then you can get that area debrided and cleaned with good dressing.

Infected skin graft needs prompt care: clean with saline, maintain strict asepsis, regular sterile dressing, topical antibiotic ointment, and systemic antibiotics if indicated. Assess for graft viability, necrosis, or collection. Pain control and good nutrition (high protein) are essential. Early surgical review is important if infection spreads.
Next Steps
Keep wound clean, daily dressing, avoid contamination, monitor redness, fever, pus, consult surgeon urgently if worsening or graft discoloration occurs.
Health Tips
Maintain hygiene, avoid touching wound, keep area dry, eat protein rich diet, control blood sugar, stop smoking, follow dressing schedule strictly.
