Hi doctor I am female , age 21 and my mom has a diseases called neurofibroma and after my 8th standard i too had those symptoms in my body it's less but still I have those symptoms. So my question is I want to know whether this will grow or just stop with this . And if we have sex will this grow more ??
And will this keep growing more with age grow

hello mam.... i can understand the concerns. The neurofibroma (NF) is a familial disease unfortunately, but how much it penetrates into the next generation is unpredictable. If u are already having the lesions, then there is high chances that the lesions might grow in size and numbers. This probability is always there in the future. I dont think there is any association with the sex for such occurrences. U can consult me online or do visit my clinic for any more quieries or examination.

Hii ..neurofibromatosis is an autosomal dominant condition. The progress of the condition is highly variable from person to person with no rule of it progressing with age or sex .in most of the people , it might stay asymptomatic and not progress at all throughout life
However before you get married , it ll be ideal to get tir partner screened for the same problem to reduce risk of your children getting it
