Skin darkening and tanning

I m 18 yr old boy.my body is really fair and white but face looks dull and deep brown.i m now using good broad spectrum sunscreen and Kojic cream..it has been.1 month I have not seen any improvement..can I use kojimax cream to get my facial skin tone back?
