Skin blemishes on legs, chest and back

Hi, My son has some blemishes on his skin , few yrs ago when we consulted doctors, he said that it is not a skin disease etc .. with time it will heal. But off late i have seen it spreading to his legs. Any feedback on what the problem is how it can be solved?
