Skin black and dull

My skin was white and glowing. during these recent months during summer, it turned black and dull. i have consulted one of the dermatologist in noida. She recommended me restreta tablets 300mg along with vitamin c tabletes. I am taking medicines since last 15 daya, but could not c any effect till now. I want to know how much time it take to effect
