Hi,
I've been experiencing constant pain in my right thumb for 6 months now. It's been on and off since December 2016. The thumb has gone numb 2 times since then due to putting excess weight on it.
The pain is now moving towards my wrist and index finger. I've tried researching in it and a skier's thumb is what I got to know. It increases during the week as I'm working on the computer and goes away when it's given rest during the weekend.
Anyway, I need help with this situation. Any resting advice until I go see an orthopedic?
Thanks.

It is better to show orthopedic surgeon near by you.Till then you can use icepack locally and thumb spika split, avoid putting weight on it . Better to consult doctor near by you
