Silvery white skin coming got from scalp

I am having dandruff from many years, but from past 1 year some white dead skin type thing is coming from my scalp. i am feeling very itchy. can you please suggest me whether is this dandruff or something else. Thanks in advance

Dandruff can be treated with lotions and shampoo (not commercial ones). Some people do have more oily scalp which cause visible flakes which we cause dandruff. There are some other conditions also which can present like flaking of the scalp. Do not apply oil on scalp as it will increase the problem.
