Side effects of covid 19
Today i took first dose of covid vaccine. My legs and back is paining. And minor cough is also there. Is it normal??

Yes, it is very common.
The most common side effects following COVID-19 vaccines are fatigue, a fever, headaches, body aches, chills, nausea, diarrhea, and pain at the site of injection, according to the World Health Organization.
These may last from a few days to a week and are mostly self limiting.
Take medication as prescribed by your doctor and rest. You can keep a clean wet cloth on the affected area to reduce pain. Consult your doctor if redness, tenderness, or swelling of the hand worsens.
Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
Avoid doing strenuous activities for at least 3-4 days after getting the vaccine. It is safer to avoid alcohol and smoking for a few days.
The vaccine does not fully prevent infection by the COVID-19 virus. However it drastically reduces the chances of severe life threatening consequences and death due to COVID-19.

Follow COVID appropriate behavior.
1. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 70% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
3. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
4. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
5. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and other people, particularly those who are coughing, sneezing and have a fever.
6. Wear cloth face coverings such as a mask in public settings, especially where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
7. Ensure regular hand washing with soap and potable water after touching animals and animal products
8. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with hands; Avoid contact with sick animals or spoiled animal products.
9. Strictly avoid any contact with other animals in the market (e.g., stray cats and dogs, rodents, birds, bats).
10. Avoid contact with potentially contaminated animal waste or fluids on the soil or structures of shops and market facilities.
11. Avoid consumption of raw or undercooked animal products: Handle raw meat, milk or animal organs with care, to avoid cross-contamination with uncooked foods, as per good food safety practices.

Body pains , fever, tiredness are common after covid vaccine
But if it lasts for more than 3days, and also cough is increasing....then you may have to consult a doctor and get tested for covid.

Post vaccine fever,headaches and myalgi are common. Need not worry. Take Dolo 650 sos. These issue would resolve in 1-2 days.
