It can be due to poor posture. But such a pain resolves itself within 10 minutes. More details are needed. Is there any history of injury to shoulder? Accident or Sports injury?
Next Steps
Consult online for detailed discussion and prescription medicine. Share complete medical records first.

It is mostly due to a bad posture and cold or a mixture of both. It could be also due to weight lifting chores you might have done or a fall. Nerve compression along those lines cause the pain to radiate through the whole arm and hand. Rest the arm and do not exert the portion that is painful.
