Shoulder pain for three days
My uncle has shoulder pain for three days. he has taken paracetamol and pain has not subsided. He is allergic to penicillin and has asthma. Please suggest a painkiller he can take.

Keeping his age in view , we need to know what kind of pain it is - example : inflammatory or non inflammatory and prescribe pain killer accordingly after knowing his co morbidities.

Shoulder pain may be a local pain like joint stiffness , ligament sprain or tendon inflammation
Or a referred pain due to nerve pressure in neck.
Since he is asthmatic it's best to avoid pain killers
Continue with paracetamol 1gm every 8th hrs.
Application of warm compress helps it.
Apply analgesic cream

Recording to your sign and symptom your uncle is suffering from muscular pain of the shoulder.
In this case your uncle can take as a treatment some muscle relaxant with calcium and multivitamin.
Tablet - flexon Mr two time per day after food and
Cap - Omez ones one time and
Tab Calcium one time and
multivitamin 2 time.
