Hello,
In schizophrenia there is no contact with reality so the person affected by it will not understand that he is ill or he is in need of medication. He needs to be taken into confidence by anyone in family so that he can visit mental health professional. Once he is diagnosed correctly and started on medication he will improve. Then he can be psycho educated about the illness and need to take the treatment.
Next Steps
Contact nearby neuropsychiatric clinic or You can contact me for further help.
