Balanced diet :
Seasonal fruits, vegetables add in diet
Protein sources like eggs, milk, curd, paneer, dal , sprouts
Chicken/ fish
Add in diet mostly vitamin C foods ( natural immune booster )
Amla, citrus fruits and tomatoes
For iron and zinc :
Add dates, raisins, jaggery, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and whole grains
Probiotics:
Homemade curd , buttermilk- helps gut immunity
Lifestyle and hygiene:
Regular hand washing before meals and after play
Proper sleep (10-12 hours)
Mild daily outdoor play / sunlight for vitamin D
Gentle home remedies:
1/2 tsp honey with pinch of turmeric once a day
3-4 tulsi leaves boiled in water , cooled , given warm sip once a day
Dry fruits powder
Add 1/2 tsp in milk -boost energy and nutrients
Chyawanprash
Many paediatrician recommended 1/2 tsp daily
