Hi, a friend of mine has a burn injury last week and she's on antibiotics & painkillers for that since then. This morning she was experiencing some sharp pain in the middle of her chest area and some muscular discomfort in her arm. She hasn't been taking her antacids for a couple of days which she did and the pain subsided. Was it because of simply acidity or something else? Kindly help. Thankyou

As the pain got subsided after taking antacid mostly it is due to hyperacidity only.
Continue taking antacids.
You may take Tab Pan 40 mg one tablet once a day on empty stomach daily.
Next Steps
For exact diagnosis and to find out the cause of chest pain she needs to get investgated properly.
Consult for the evaluation and management.
If subsided by antacid then must be acidity..... without knowing her digree of burn or her disease history how can someone tell what kind of pain was it .
