i have been diagnosed with sciatica pain by doing MRI.the pain was in the buttocks travelling down the leg.iam under medication by referring to a rhematologist.actually i was better.but due to sudden slip in the bathroom by keeping the leg on the wall of the tiles,my leg slipped and fell with force.thats why when i wslk or stand for 10 mnts iam having pain and searching for a chair to sit.
now today afyernoon suddenly i got a catch on my right hip and finding difficult to even turn
my medications are
Melo 7.5 mg
nervirich
nuerogaba 75
somtel 40.
please suggest whethet the above medicines r ok or else take some other medicine.can i keep hot water bag,can i apply volini spray.

Hi, if you got pain in leg and back - it may be due to nerve root compression. Initially you can try physio traction and IFT. Consult orthopaedic doctor if pain not settles. If you got any problem with bladder and bowel or numbness or weakness- consult ortho urgently. Opinion given by Dr Sivaraman B, Thorraipakkam, Chennai
