Severe itching chest back legs

For as long as I can remember I have suffered from being really itchy over chest back and legs. Comes on strong at night, after a shower or when I sweat. I can not towel dry myself or itch as these make it a lot worse. What I find strange is that my sister suffers the same issue and so did my father and his sister. I have tried creams and these al
