Severe Hair loss and doubts

Asked for Male, 20 Years

I went to doc and got prescribed-Menofit Tablet 1 per day 6 month Trigaine 3 time a week Salisia kt shampoo 2 time a week Moor f 5% lotion /5 spray/ml twice daily. Was told I have androgenrtic alipecia. Reading up on minoxidil, which is in most of those med, any hair gained by it stops after usage, and it is lifelong use.? Is it useless afterall?
