  4. Severe fever. Temperature. please help!

Severe fever
My son who is 6years is having constant fever from day before yesterday. The temperature is always 101 to 102. Even after giving medicine flexon suspension there is not much change in the temperature. Please help

Most fevers in children are viral in origin. Unless accompanied by other symptoms,keep giving flexon,repeat 4 hourly. The commonest reason for drugs not being effective is underdosing. If your child is 17-20kg,give 7.5ml.
