Severe Constipation and back pain.
Patient: Male Age: 66 years Medical History: Recent chickenpox infection (now healed) History of Present Illness: I had chickenpox a few weeks ago and was treated with antiviral medications, pain relievers, and other supportive care. The infection has healed, but after recovery, he started experiencing: Severe back pain (doctor diagnosed as post-infection nerve pain and prescribed Preqm NT for pain). Constipation (doctor prescribed Diablo for relief). Despite taking medication for constipation, he has not had a bowel movement for the past 7 days. Current Symptoms: No bowel movement for 7 days Feeling of fullness and bloating Abdominal discomfort No vomating Medications Currently Taking: Preqm NT for nerve pain Diablo for constipation other daily medications Fibator 10 for cholesterol Udiliv for grade 1 fatty liver Amlodac 2.5 for blood pressure G loc LS for gas We are concerned as for 7 days no bowel movement. Please help us.
