I recieved 2.4 million units of bicillin L-A to treat syphilis. it has been 5 days since then and ive read online about something called serum sickness is that common with this medicine. ive been having severe anxiety over this.

I understand your apprehension! Every medicine has side effects. If you read even the most commonly used Medicine too has some bad effect. That doesn’t mean we should stop it. We need to balance the situation. Taking treatment for syphillis is more important in your case I believe. And if you ask me serum sickness is nothing but a type of hypersensitive reaction. That is allergic reaction and if you develop any features of it you may contact your physician.
