A serum lithium level of 0.55 mEq/L after just 1 week of treatment can be acceptable initially. If the level was checked 12 hours after the last dose, the treating psychiatrist may repeat the test after a few days and adjust the dose if needed based on symptoms and response. Do not change the dose on your own. For consultation, u can directly msg on nine nine three one zero four five zero zero eight.
