Serum Ferritin - Hair Loss
I've more hair loss since 2-3 years. Visited many doctors and found out hypothyroidism. Now I'm undergoing homeo treatment which is under control. Still hair loss couldn't be controlled. No PCOD/ PCOS!! No scalp or root issues!! No dandruff!! As there might be iron deficiency, doctor suggested to take prescribed medication. Unfortunately hemoglobin is going high and serum ferritin is low (16). I'm taking red meat, and other natural foods to increase ferritin level but I could increase up-to (24) for one year. Now I'm in a stage of no more testing on me. Can someone help me to find out whom to visit for serum ferritin levels? Your advice is highly recommended as I'm awaiting for my big day soon.
