As I see yr cousin age is 25 and she is married. So if there are no complications of hernia then first the family and once she decides she doesn’t want to bear child anymore then surgery is a better idea. Or else if she becomes pregnant after hernia surgery then recurrence chances of hernia will be high.
Having said that if hernia has complicated like obstruction or strangulation then it requires priority.
