Sebaceous cyst on back

Asked for Male, 25 Years

I had a sebaceous cyst on back that got. Infected. Now the doctor did incision and drainage of the cyst. For the last 5 days the cyst is being packed daily at the hospital. It's very painful and requires visit to hospital. What is the normal Healing duration of such a surgery wound. Till when will the hole continue to be packed with gauze.
