Seasonal allergy
My daughter is having eye itching, puffiness of eyes, sneezing and runny nose. Earlier doctor prescribed her Telecast for this condition for 5 days . Now she took the the same tablet for 1 day and felt better. Should she continue for 5 days itself or can she stop as soon as the symptoms stop.

She can take tablet Telecast, till symptoms last and then stop it. She should also take steam inhalation regularly. Get complete blood count done. Also get her ENT check up done,  to exclude deviated nasal septum,  which causes recurrent cold. It is curable by a minor surgery.

That drug is an anti-allergy medication called Montelekast. It will help allergy symptoms only as long as it is taken. There is no need of a course like antibiotics, take as needed.
