Hello, my brother is suffering from scezophrenia. He was treated well in DY patil hospital but its too far to go for counseling regularly. Can anyone help me with any other trust hospital near Malad? I can't afford private doctors treatment for the same. Kindly help me out with this problem. Thank you in advance.

Schizophrenia is a major mental illness. it needs multimodal approach for its treatment. Counseling don't have any significant role in schizophrenia. Pharmacotherapy , rehabilitation, ADL training and family counseling is needed for expressed emotion is the mainline treatment.
Don't panic ....many free services are available for this in good institute. What he needs now is our concern. Let's have a clear discussion.
