Hi , I have a diognosis of scezoaffective Disorder. Now taking encrote chrono 400 MG and  Risperodon 2 MG.Can I stop taking encrote chrono 400 MG completely.. serious answers needed for further consultation.

You cannot do that on your own even if you feel well. It has to be decided by your treating psychiatrist depending on various factors like past relapses, duration of symptoms, present condition, the opinion of near and dear ones matter too. So consult your regular psychiatrist and get the needful done. Good luck

There is a role of mood stabiliser in schizoaffective disorder and Encorate chrono is playing same role here. There is possibility that you might go in to a disease episode if you stop same. Still if you feel you have issue tolerating same, you should discuss with your psychiatrist to switch to some other mood stabiliser (eg. Lithium or lamotrigine).
