Scars and itness near groin area

Asked for Male, 33 Years

The area near the groin is itchy, scars, smells and gets wet. I wonder if it is sexually transmitted or I once skipped taking shower after playing may that caoused npt sure. I used ant-fungal cream called Fourdem and the skin looks little wrinkled in that area. Please help.

Thanks for the query. Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to rampant usage of antifungals. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are coprescribed many a times to treat. If needed a simple skin test can also be done. Till then use only OTC anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
