Scarring alopecia,lichen planopilaris

Asked for Male, 25 Years

I was diagnosed with scarring alopecia 4 months ago ...i went to a dermatologist and he gave me some medicines and an ointment to apply on my scalp ...but it didn't help ..i have small black spots on my ears and I have also developed a bald patch and there's redness on my scalp also ....what should I do ?
