Scar Removal. Should i visit?

Dear Doctor, Due to stupidity and foolishness I had cut my hand(picture attached) with blade 2-3 years ago and in anger I cut it too deep which I regret now very much. After the scar was left I consulted the doctor and he did surgery which worsened my scar rather than reducing it. There after I went for CO2 laser treatment at a dermatologist but after just 2-3 visits I stopped visiting due to lack of visible improvements. I am really worried about it. I have not shown it to my parents coz they will be hurt very much. Therefore, I wanted to cure it anyhow. Please help me in this situation. What treatment can be done and which hospital/doctor should I visit? Is it possible to remove the scar or minimize it so that it doesn't become noticeable. Also, what can be the approximate cost of it. Thanks and regards
