Scaly oval rash on body

Asked for Male, 19 Years

I have just noticed my second episode with pityriasis rosea.(scaly bit oval shaped rashes ...)it occured first in august and now again. Does this get repeated again and again?what is the REASON?how to cure it?there is permanent treatment?do I have to rely on medicines and creams?also I'm a swimmer ...will this affect? What is with sun treatment?does it help?
