I have a black gum. In my uper teeth I went it for a dentist they told me it to do a scaling it will go away I'm attaching u a pic plz chexk

Being specialist for gums, I will advise you to go for scaling but scaling will remove only the yellow stains which are present on your teeth. For your gums, I mean for blackish pigmentation which is present over your gums ..it is because of melanin hyperpigmentation, its physiological so no need to worry, you just go for the treatment as gingival pigmentation in which they remove blackish part of your gums and after healing they will appear as pink only. The black colour of the gums over your teeth is called pigmentation which is your gum colour which cannot be removed. The green and yellow colour stain on your teeth can be removed with the help of scaling. If you still insist on changing the gum colour there r advanced options like laser de pigmentation procedure which should be done in clinic .

This is melanin pigmentation over your gums which can
never go by scaling or polishing.
If at all u want to get rid of this pigmentation there are treatment options available for it which is done either
by lasers or through a minor surgical procedure for depigmentation

Stains on the teeth will go by doing scaling .
But colour of the gums won't change at all.
Colour of the gums change over a period of time ...it's natural and Normal
