Scabies skin disease. Home for a month.

I gave been said that am affected by scabies. There are full of rashes and pimples on the body except on face, spine. Am staying in a hostel. I am advised to take medicines and ointments for a month. I am said to wash all things including bed spreads and towels in hot water and dry I'm hot sun. But am in  a coimbatore area where it's cloudy all the Day and rains I'm the evening. I also had back pain treatment with continuous physiotherapy till from July 2nd week this August 6th @ home. I am  advised not to wash clothes by hand and my roommates helped me in this using pg common washing machine since August 7th. My concern here is, scabies is a contagious disease. I have 2 roommates. I can't spoil their skin and we are working women. Is washing things in a common washing machine which is used by around 60ppl is advisable. Is staying in pg is advisable for scabies or shall I go home for a month.
