Saunf and mishri do help with gastritis. Even cold milk in small quantity will be useful.
Medicines only provide relief in symptoms, but it is important to know the reason for cure. Get upper G.I endoscopy and serology for H. Pylori done.

Take small frequent meals, more of green vegetables, fresh fruits , avoid hot, spicy food, alcohol, pain killer tablets eating late in evening. Drink more water.
