Is it required to take salt everyday to keep our blood pressure normal without any fluctuations because my mother stopped taking salt from past 5-10 years and now-a-days she often had fluctuations in her blood pressure

Salt intake is very essential for human body not just to maintain blood pressure, but for various other functions in the body. In hypertensive patients, doctors ask patient not to take any extra added salt, that means whatever used while cooking is sufficient. About 2.5g of salt per day is a must to maintain normal bodily functions, including maintenance of a normal blood pressure.
