S amlodpine 5
My father age 72 having bp and taking medicine telma lnb 40 at morning and telma ln during night but from few days in afternoon or have seen that his bp is sometimes around 160/80 and 170/85 so doctor has prescribed s amlodpine 5 SOS. Can I give him that now and again telma ln at night as usual dose .pls tell

After 55year of age year telmisartan not recommended Calcium channel blockers are recommended like amlodipine , clinidipine ..etc Yes you can give amlodipine now but you should consult same doctor before starting new antihypertensive for long time
