RUT positive indicates H. pylori gastritis, a common and treatable condition. Antral erosions occur due to infection-related inflammation. If inflammation or symptomatic then start standard eradication therapy (PPI + two antibiotics for 14 days) as prescribed. Avoid NSAIDs, spicy food, alcohol. Cure rates are high; confirm eradication with stool antigen or urea breath test after treatment.
