Maxtra is for running nose. Give milk and warm water for drinking. Nasal saline drops for nasal blockage. If cough persist for more than 3 days reconsult your dr to rule out infection.
In the meantime maintain room warm. Also keep the baby warm as cold leads to dryness of respiratory tract and cough.
Do not give maxtra if running nose has stopped as more use may lead to dryness and increase in cough episodes
