So there are two things: 1.Firstly throbbing pain in gums, jaw pain and pus formation could be due to re-infection occuring in root canal treated tooth or it could be due to another tooth besides the treated tooth that is infected. 2.If you feel sensitivity in gums and not in ur teeth and also if your upper gum is swollen and itching it could be due to formation of plaque and  calculus deposits on the tooth or inflammation of the gums  which would require a dental cleaning.
Next Steps
visit your dentist as soon as possible
Health Tips
For temporary relief from swollen and itching of the gums you can apply kenacort gel on the gums and leave it for 10 mins and rinse .. do this thrice daily for 5 days also warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day for 5 days should be helpful.

Hi! Looks like you either have a failed root canal or a new infection in the adjacent teeth. Either way, you will need an X-ray to confirm the diagnosis. Please visit your dentist and get it evaluated.
Next Steps
Get an IOPAR done for the concerned teeth.
Health Tips
Keep rinsing with warm salt water 4-5 times/day.
