I am a teenage girl, of 17years old. From my recent blood test,hypothyroidism has been diagnosed and my doctor prescribed me thyrox 12.5 medicine. Will it help me to prevent hair loss or will it worsen my hair loss?

In cases of hypo or hyperthyroidism hair loss is seen. So please continue your thyrox medicines and don't stop it. Do review checkup of thyroid according to your doc after every few months. You can take any multivitamins infrequently too to prevent hair loss.
