Ring Worm infection
Hi , So my brother has a ring worm infection in his groin area later it spread to thighs he did proper treatment by consulting doc on practo the doc gave me three medicines 1. Zoderm E cream  ,2. Zimig 250 , 3. Dazit , all for 3 weeks ... Initially the itching had gone and he left the course of Zimig 250 ... But continued to apply the cream...itching came back but the ring worm completely disappeared...now it has come in his underarms both the sides... He too uses ABZORB powder at night in the infected areas ... He changed his soap to Dove serum bar but the infection is spreading I think... He exercises a lot so sweat is there but then takes a bath for that ... His body hair is also dense ... Please suggest... Are the soap , medicines ok ???

Hi, Complete the full course, keep skin dry, use loose clothes, and continue the antifungal cream. A review would help if it keeps spreading. Feel free to consult for further guidance.

Antifungal treatment,  should be continued for 2 to 4 weeks, after apparent healing, particularly the local applications, this helps to clear fungus present in deeper layers of skin, which causes infection to relapse. He should trim excess hair around affected parts, use mycoderm dusting powder after shower and while changing clothes.
